It’s a good day for photos of Earth taken from space, because NASA cancelled the launch of the Endeavor Space Shuttle today due to concerns over an auxiliary power heater. This is the shuttle that Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ husband is going up on, and Rep. Giffords was in attendance at the launch. President Obama also made an appearance at the spaceport, despite the cancelled shuttle launch. The shuttle launch has been rescheduled a Monday launch at the earliest, so it’s a good time to take a look at what the Endeavor crew will soon behold: amazing views of Earth, as seen from outer space.
